Streaming Video Optimization Tips

Follow

To optimize the performance of streaming video and improve the speed of your video playback, we recommend that you perform the following:

  • Clear temporary internet files: Clearing your cache can lead to increases in performance. Steps taken to clear your Temporary Internet files vary by browser. Consult your browser's help file for the best instructions to clear cookies, temporary Internet files, etc.
  • Check the streaming bit rate: By default, the streaming bit rate is set to "Automatic Switching" to ensure that you are getting the highest possible bit rate for your bandwidth. If you are experiencing video playback issues, try adjusting the bit rate setting. Lower bit rates may be better choices in limited-bandwidth environments. Higher bit rates deliver excellent resolution when a video is viewed in full-screen mode or projected. You can change the streaming bit rate setting in your user account.

If you have followed the above recommendations but videos do not load properly, you may need to unblock or prioritize our server information for streaming service. In this case, please click here to contact us so we can supply you with information to optimize your network for streaming service.
